We are located in Newmerella, a short drive from Orbost, Victoria right near the mouth of the amazing Snowy River.

We provide the perfect accommodation location for a touring base for your Snowy River experience - whether into the mountains and gorges of the Snowy River high country, or the mouth of the river at beautiful Marlo, or anywhere in between.

Two very different ends of the same river

Head north and the country climbs into steep forested hills, deep gorges and the Snowy River National Park. Head south and the same river spreads across the flats and opens into the estuary at Marlo. From here you can do either in a day and sleep in the same bed both nights.

A practical base

Big grounds, room for a boat or a van beside your room, ground floor rooms, BBQ and laundry facilities, and Orbost 4 kms up the road for supplies. We are open 365 days a year and well behaved dogs are very welcome.
