What we collect, why, and what we do with it.

This policy explains how Snowy River Lodge Motel handles your personal information when you use this website. We keep it short and in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

There are only two ways we collect anything from you here.

  • When you send us an enquiry. We collect the name, email address, phone number and message you type into the contact form, along with your IP address and the time you sent it.
  • When you browse the site. Our analytics records anonymous information about your visit - which pages you looked at, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device and browser you used, and how you found us.

What we do with it

Enquiry details are used to answer your enquiry and arrange your booking, and nothing else. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not add you to a mailing list. Analytics information is used only to understand how people use the site so we can improve it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are relevant to your booking and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch. Analytics data is retained by Google under their own retention settings. Ask us and we will delete your enquiry.

The services this site uses

  • Google Analytics - measures site visits. Your IP address is anonymised.
  • Google Maps - the map on our location and contact pages is loaded from Google.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile - checks that the contact form is being used by a person and not a bot. It does not use tracking cookies.
  • SMTP2GO - delivers enquiry emails from the website to our inbox.
  • Great South Land Design - builds and hosts the site, and can see enquiries sent through it for support purposes.

Cookies

This site sets analytics cookies. Google Maps and Turnstile may set their own when those parts of a page load. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time and the site will still work.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@snowyriverlodgemotel.com.au or call 03 5154 1242 and we will sort it out.
